The International Conference on Science and Engineering (ICSE) 2017 organized by Faculty of Science and Technology Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, Indonesia with the collaboration of Universitas Hasanuddin (UNHAS), Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII), Society for Indonesian Biodiversity, journal Biology Medicine, & Natural Product Chemistry, and Forum Kajian Islam Sains dan Teknologi (FKIST).
The conference was held on the 12th of September Yogyakarta, Indonesia. ICSE 2017 was chaired by Muhammad Jafar Luthfi, Ph.D (Vice Dean, Faculty of Science and Technology), Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
The opening remarks of ICSE 2017 were made by Muhammad Jafar Luthfi, Ph.D, Conference chair together with Dr. Murtono, M.Si (Dean, Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Sunan Kalijaga), Dr. Sujadi, M.A. (Chairman of the International Office UIN Sunan Kalijaga), and Dr. Phil. Sahiron, M.A. (Vice Rector of UIN Sunan Kalijaga).
The conference comprised of nine topics which researchers presented their research findings. The topics as follow.
The highlight of the ICSE 2017 was the keynote addresses by Bernd Udo Wiechert (Senior Experten Service, German) on “Applied Biomechanics: Prosthetic and Orthopaedics“, and Assoc. Prof. Ferry Jie (Edith Cowan University, Western Australia) on “Supply Chain Design for Global Competitiveness”, and Prof. Dr. Eng. Syafaruddin, S.T., M.Eng. (Universitas Hasanuddin, Indonesia) on “Review of Maximum Power Point Tracking Control of Photovoltaic Systems in Case of Uniform & Non-uniform Irradiance Conditions”.
