Abstract

The formation of fair and intellectual leadership in the future is an effort to produce leaders who are not only based on moral and spiritual values. Pesantren, as educational institutions, play a significant role in shaping character, morals, and spirituality to become leaders who can integrate social justice with critical and innovative thinking. Through a curriculum that combines religious learning and modern knowledge, pesantren prepare individuals to be competent in ethics, leadership, science, and the ability to adapt to current political developments. This study aims to examine the curriculum and learning methods in Islamic boarding schools in shaping fair and intellectual leadership character in the future through Islamic boarding school education. The method used is qualitative research using a case study approach with data collection techniques of interviews, observation, and documentation to explore the values and application of leadership in Islamic boarding schools. This research shows that the combination of spiritual and intellectual education in the pesantren environment is effective in preparing a generation of leaders who are able to lead with integrity and knowledge in the present day.
