C21st Century Educational Paradigm: A Psychological Perspective on Education
Keywords:
21st Century, Paradigm, Education, Educational PsychologyAbstract
This study aims to explore how educational psychology paradigms can be adapted and applied in the context of 21st-century education. Qualitative research is an interpretative methodology aimed at gaining a deep understanding of social phenomena through subjective experiences (Feuer & Makarov, 2024). This type of research includes literature reviews or library research (Najili et al., 2022). In this study, the researcher used data analysis techniques offered by Miles and Huberman, which involve exploring and reviewing data until saturated data is obtained, carried out by collecting all data, then reducing the data, presenting the data, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study show that 21st-century education requires the integration of a flexible curriculum, active and interactive learning methods, and the role of highly qualified teachers who are adaptive to technology. All of this cannot be separated from the representation of character and ethical values in learning. For further research, it is recommended to examine more deeply how these approaches can be practically implemented across all levels of education to prepare students for the challenges of globalization and digitalization.
